Alex & Rob’s vision was to create a party/’festival’ like atmosphere for their wedding reception. With the Tea Tent at Murwillumbah Showground as an amazing blank canvas, we ran with their colour scheme of coral and mint, and covered the high pitched roof with fairy lights and paper lanterns. Dry bars, hay bales, rustic crates, all of their DIY touches, combined to create an amazing setting. The magic of this venue came to life once the sun went down and the lights & candles took over, and we can’t wait to see some of the official party pics!!

What a perfect wedding day!! The sun was out for the only time this whole week, friends and family traveled from all across Australia to help us celebrate and it was a fun and very memorable night.
Massive shout-out to to all the people and businesses that helped out on the day. We can’t thank you enough for making it so special and we highly recommend you to anyone we know… (this will be a long one 😉 )
~DRESS | Rosa and Mary’s Bridal Shop | You ladies were so wonderful to work with and made a dream dress that was a crowd (and groom!) pleaser.
~VENUE | Murwillumbah Showgrounds | Greg and Meg the caretakers went above and beyond to make sure the grounds and pavilion were scrubbed up for the big day.
~STYLISTS | Bliss & Willow | The decorating was truly beautiful. Your vision and then turning it into a reality was divine. It was peace of mind to know that you can come in and create such a welcoming and warm space.
~HAIR | Tigress Hair | Lisa my hair was A-MAZ-ING! It stayed perfect, even after a full night of dancing x
~MAKEUP | LarnaG -Makeup Artist | Larna the makeup was perfect. You nailed the colour and what I wanted and (like my hair!) stayed vibrant all night x
~CAR | Go To Court Lawyers | I got to be driven to the ceremony in a Bentley!! The bridal car was not only graciously made available by the the team but the driver was none other than the CEO himself. Legend!!
~ PHOTOGRAPHY | E.L Simpson Photography | Erin and Al… SOO much fun and you guys made us feel so comfortable and natural. So far the sneak peaks we have seen are stunning!
~ SNACKS | Sweet n Salty | I didn’t get to try the Popcorn Cart that was provided but waved on the way in haha. The guests loved it and was a perfect snack between the events.
~ DRINKS | Little fat lamb | #littlefatlamb Mark hooked us up with the best drinks in town!
~ FOOD | Little Back | Sheel and Joey were wonderful. I had the beef cheeks and it was melt in your mouth! Loved the food and cart guys.
~ FOOD | The Wiener Haus | Zac, I didn’t get to say hi as the lines were crazy! Hot dogs and doughnuts for a wedding?? Why not! The guests raved about it.
~ BAND | FAT ALBERT | You guys were beyond amazing! Our friends that go to all your gigs were stoked you were there and the people that traveled couldn’t stop talking you up. The music got the party cranking and it truly made our night!
Oh, and did we mention, they said their ‘I do’s’ in the middle of the Showground Arena, with guests seated in the Grandstand. So amazing ❤️
